MEASUREMENT GUIDE

Keep growth records clear

A clear record helps you and your clinician see what was actually measured, without guessing the unit or the date.

Record the reading, not an interpretation

Save the date, measured value and unit. If shoes were worn or a different instrument was used, a short note preserves that context. Avoid editing a reading simply to make a chart look smoother.

Convert units carefully

One inch is exactly 2.54 centimetres. If a tape shows feet and inches, first multiply the feet by twelve, add the remaining inches, and then convert. The unit tool below performs that arithmetic in your browser.

Keep a copy you control

The current HeightCalc journal stores measurements on your device. Browser storage can be cleared, so use its report feature or a printed blank log if you want a separate record. This guide does not add cloud backup.

Centimetres and inches

This conversion runs on your device. Values are not sent to the server.
